Our hand-thrown, slip-trailed and hand painted plates make the perfect, special gift for a Christening, birthday or new baby. We've included some examples of plates that we've made over the years to give you some ideas - you may want to use one of these designs, or email hello@piggerypottery.co.uk to discuss your ideas. You can choose the border colour, and please include the info you would like on the plate in the box provided (name, weight, D.O.B etc.).
As these plates are handmade by Barbara, there will be some slight variation - the size is approx. 30cm diameter.
All plates are well packed and double boxed to help ensure their safe arrival.

Handmade and painted by Barbara Winrow in her pottery studio in North Wales. Glaze ware takes around 10 days to make as it has to dry thoroughly before firing. Then is in the kiln for 24 hours after this it is decorated, dipped in glaze and fired again for another 24 hours. So please call or email Barbara if you need something made for a specific date.
